Michael B. Notelovitz
Michael was born and bred in Polokwane (formerly Pietersburg). He attended Capricorn High School, where he excelled at Rugby and Athletics.
​
Michael graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1987 with an LLB degree. He was amongst the top students in his class.​
​
He did his articles in 1988 and 1989, with the leading Johannesburg firm of Werksmans Attorneys. His mentor was Mr. Alec Costa, one of South Africa’s leading divorce attorneys.
​
The experience of learning divorce law from one of the best in the business gave Michael a passion for Family Law.
​
After his articles, Michael became an Advocate of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He practised as an Advocate for several years, where he had an excellent name.
